a storm rolled in tonight, and i watched the whole thing from beginning to end in my car at the end of our driveway. it was AWESOME! it was spooky, and beautiful all at the same time. Afterwards, as i was about to pull back into the yard, i caught a glimpse of the passing storm in my rear view mirror and it struck me that it was sort of a metaphor to life. In front of me was emerging blue skies and beautiful clouds & the sun was coming out again, and in my rear view mirror were the storm clouds. I thought it was quite poetic :)
