Mothers Day up north

So i drove north & drove & drove and look where i ended up! I got to spend the weekend in Grand Forks with my Kid and my +kid! It was relaxed and laid back and just nice. We worked on a big wedding project (happy to report it is COMPLETED) and they cooked for me. We took some fun additional engagement photos (they have both lost so much weight, i wanted a few updated ones for some projects and to showcase their accomplishments!)
The drive home was LONG, i hate good-byes, but the summer is full of time spent together, so bring on the wedding season!! SOO so much to be thankful for and to look forward to. #loverules

i NEED

ok ok, so this shouldn't count as an "art" entry. But if someone would be able to massage my hands (especially my right) i would be one happy artist. Is there someone out there that has a machine or apparatus to do any kind of hand pain relief? A cream? an ancient  native american healing dance? an old wives tale... anything. :)

photographer-mode

wowza... have i ever been in photographer mode lately! i have 4 photography jobs this week alone! It's simply because the fall colors here in Minnesota are at their peak, and just beautiful. I love taking photos, but look forward to having more time to paint after things slow down. I love fall too!! (except for the box-elder bugs and Asian beetles)

baby House Wren chicks! They are in a nest in the wreath right by our door. They even hatched on graduation day... poetic? :) they are so ugly  they are cute!! maybe inspiration for a painting?
